I was told when I went in for a 3000 mile oil change that there was hardly any oil in the engine. This was the first time I had been told this in 47,000 miles. The mechanic told me that this year/model Hyundai was notorious for this issue and that I should carry oil in the car and check the oil every time I fill the car with gas. I have had to add oil twice since last oil change, 3/4 of a quart in 500 miles.
