Around the 40-45K mile mark, my car started running very rough, check the oil and it was very low, added oil to it and it immediately started running better. Continued having to check the oil every 1k miles or it would start running rough again. Had an oil consumption test run by my dealership and of course it wasn’t burning oil to them, even though I had been having issues for quite sometime. Have since had 2 more consumption tests and some type of additive the dealership recommended and nothing has helped, I am still burning over a quart every 1000-1200 miles. The dealership basically told me Hyundai wouldn’t approve a fix as they keep changing and setting the bar for repair higher and unattainable.
