I have a 2017 Shelby GT350 with only 14,000 miles on it. I've never tracked it drag raced it or nothing. On June 7, 2021 it blew up on me do to low oil pressure. I was just driving on the highway when this happened. When the low oil pressure light come on I immediately pulled over and it shut off on me. I had it towed to my Ford dealer. The very next day they called me and said that the engine was done and it was going to cost me $22,000 to get a new engine. I asked about the warranty and they said Ford would not cover it due to a after market Cold Air Intake and a SCT Tune. I know everyone I have talked to has had the same issue. I'm sorry but the little CAI and Tune is not going to blow a engine up especially a engine that is meant to be hammered on. Also, I had to pay out of pocket for a new clutch for a Shelby that only had 5,000 miles on it. I have owned many muscle cars and this Shelby GT350 has been the worst that I have ever had. Can someone please help me. I don't have $22,000 just laying around to throw brand new engine into a car that only has 14,000 miles on it.
