Build Quality

Medium risk

Medium

Build quality refers to how well the vehicle was put together or assembled. For example, some people may notice that interior and/or exterior panels may be out of alignment, parts are not properly secured or they tend to fall off easily.
Car depreciation

52% after 5 years

While different cars depreciate at different rates, it's a good rule of thumb to assume that a new car will lose approximately 20 percent of its value in the first year. In five years, the average depreciation rate is 50% of their initial value.
Complaint Resolution

Not so good.

All automobiles will suffer from defects at some point, but its the way the dealer and manufacturer tend to the issues. As reported currently, Chevrolet is not taking care of the majority of complaints.
Recalls

83 Recalls

A recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle, equipment, car seat, or tire creates an unreasonable safety risk or fails to meet minimum safety standards. Manufacturers are required to fix the problem by repairing it, replacing it, offering a refund, or in rare cases repurchasing the vehicle.

I am 56 years old I’ve driven a car since I was 16 years of age. I have never owned a car where I am terrified to drive in the rain. Originally from upstate New York where we get four seasons in a day I’ve never had an issue with

Unfortunately I’ve taken this vehicle in for what will be going on the 4th time for the same problem. The dealership says it’s burning/leaking oil. Last night when I was coming home it started chugging/dying. This has happened before and “was fixed”. MN winters can be brutally cold and that’s

The car is comfortable enough and gas mileage is good. The dash display is ridiculous no heat gauge at all so you would have no idea if the car could be running hot. Rear window defrost is impossible to find. Whoever designed the car gave no consideration for instrument displays

I had to take my car back three times due to the cord coming off the heater or the air conditioner. I wouldn't suggest this car for a work car either if you have to have several riders as only room for four people in the car. I will never

First, i needed of a car, and i rush myself to get one. I wanted another car, but this one was the faster to get. I leased the 2020 LS trim, in white, it drives smooth and it handles good on highway even though it is a really small SUV,

Had to have the turbo replaced twice since I got the car. Only had it for 50,000 miles of the 90,000 that were on it. If it wasn't for the Chevy extended warranty that I purchased when I got it, I would have lost thousands of dollars on this car.

I like the car, until it snows. I don't know why other reviewers are saying the AWD is good. I have swerved so many times in the snow, I just don't want to drive in bad weather. My car before this was another chevy from 2002. It held up for

To put into perspective it is a downgrade from my '06 HHR, which was disappointing also. City driving mpg sucks! (19.5mpg)The 83 cu. in. engine is tepid at best. ridiculously small cargo area. Dash is cheap.
