My wife and I was driving her 2017 Hyundai tuscon home from church. About a mile away the engine starting ticking or knocking. No lights came on and we got home and parked it. I waited for it to cool off and checked the oil. No oil was on the dipstick and I ended up putting almost 3 quarts of oil in it. I cranked the car and it’s still knocking so I’m assuming the engine is done for. I’m calling the dealership in the morning to see what to do. It just happened today. We have 122,000 miles and no warranty after 100k. The oil was changed at the end of September, and it’s only been drove 2,000 miles since the last oil change.
