The car consumes oil excessively and needs 2-3 quarts of oil every 400 miles. I have to check the oil gauge every 2 weeks at a minimum to refill the oil level to a safe amount. This is extremely annoying, and prior to reaching about 85,000 miles, this was never an issue.
