Excess oil consumption-currently under consumption test

A few months ago, I started losing around 1/2 dipstick every 1000 miles. Just before the dealership started the consumption test, I had the PCV valve changed and their 3 step fuel system service. I had a borescope that only sees the piston tops and noticed it didn't clean pistons
