Since I change my oil myself I have noticed oil consumption from when this truck was new the 1st time I changed the oil it was 3 to 4 qt court's low now it is burning or consuming on the average of one qt per 1000 miles I have taken

Upon buying a new 2018 Ford F150 5.0L Supercab truck, I religiously had Pugmire Ford in Cartersville Georgia change my oil and filter. No mention or recording of low oil on dipstick was ever communicated to me either through conversation or on the inspection sheets until I asked the question.

Purchased a new 2018 F150 (demo) with the 5 litre engine in June 2019. It had 14,000 kms at the time of purchase. It went back for an oil change in the Fall of 2019 and it was down a litre of oil at that time. Dealer said to monitor.

I normally go to a local Prompto oil change center for oil changes or the local Ford dealer on occasion. I normally change the oil between 3500 - 4500 miles. I've not paid much attention as to whether or not the engine was using oil, until 12/30/21 @ 53636 miles

Have to constantly add oil ... will not even go the full oil change interval without having to add oil. Have to constantly check and fill oil on road trips. I'm not impressed with how the motor sounds even though the dealer says it's normal...no way it can be good

Dealer did the first fix but the problem was not resolved. The dealer sent a mobile mechanic to my house to check the oil every 1000 miles, decided they needed to look into the engine. Took truck in and changed cylinder head. Did not fix, back in shop taking engine
