Horrible Active Lane Assist

Using the Active Lane Assist (Prestige trim level), I am getting frequent false alerts to put my hands on the steering wheel. Audi senses this by measuring that the steering wheel didn't move for 15 seconds. On straight highways, I get a loud ding about every 5 minutes. Audi says
